In 2023 Juicy Marbles released the world’s first plant-based ribs with bones, to great success, since then, they have refined the recipe to remove thickeners and binders, and add more essential micronutrients, meaning a cleaner, nutrient-dense rib experience for all!
Thus was born the Baby Ribs, a slightly smaller size, but improved version of the original idea – the ‘bone-to-meat’ ratio has been perfected for the ideal tear-away into juicy chunks, and you can get guaranteed fork-tender, fall-off-the-bone results in a much quicker time than their traditional counterparts – it’s wins all round!
These Baby Ribs are meaty and umami, but are kept fairly neutral in their seasoning, so you can dress them up how you’d like – they are calling out for any number of marinades, like your classic BBQ, or more adventurous options, like hoi sin, jerk, gochujang, or fruit-based glazes, or try a wide variety of spice rubs, we like Chinese-style salt & pepper style, then simply bake in a 200°C fan oven for about 15-20 minutes.
