Mailing Lists
When you opt in to receive our newsletters we ask for your name and email address and we use this when we contact you. By opting in to our newsletter you are giving us your express permission to contact you via email marketing. We use a third-party provider, GetResponse, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. Your Data
When you place an order with us we ask for your name, contact number/s, email address, company name (if applicable), address and delivery information. This information is securely stored on our systems and can only be accessed by Alternative Stores employees. We use this information for processing and dispatching your orders. We do not store your payment details and if you place an order via our website you will be taken to the Worldpay payment portal to input your card information. If you place telephone orders with us then your payment details are held only for the time in which it takes us for your order to be input into our system. You are not automatically opted-in to our newsletter when you place an order, this is an option which you can choose to select when you create an account.

Third Parties
We may share your personal data with the following parties for the purposes noted below:
•If you have chosen to opt-in to our newsletter then your name and email address will be shared with our mailing list provider - GetResponse
•The couriers we use to provide our delivery services - DPD, MyHermes and Royal Mail
•The merchants we use to process your payments - Worldpay and Paypal
•Our ecommerce platform provider - Opencart, to store your data and order history

Except as provided above, we will not share personal information with any other third parties without informing you beforehand, unless required by, or in connection with, law and / or regulatory requirements. We will not sell, trade or lease your personal information to others.
