Jeavons liquorice toffee is actually made with liquorice extract, unlike many ‘liquorice‘ toffees that use anise instead (because it’s the cheap alternative!), so Jeavons liquorice toffee has a beautiful slow-build in flavour.
This isn’t artificially coloured black either, because we don’t use artificial colours!
Pan cooked to create the perfect traditional toffee taste (just a little softer to be kinder to your teeth!).

What is ‘Caramel Toffee‘?
It’s ‘Not too hard, and not too soft‘
Jeavons found that some people assume that ‘toffee’ is rock hard, like a ‘Butterscotch’, but that’s not the kind of toffee they make! Their toffee is firm, but quickly softens for a mouthwatering chew, like the chewy toffees Mackintosh (Rowntree’s) created a hundred plus years ago, combining recipes for caramels and toffees, and creating a toffee that was ‘Not too hard, and not too soft‘.
Sold as a traditional slab, scored for snapping off chunks, or give it a whack before you open it.
