Suma's medium roast signature blend of contributions from Fairtrade and organic small-scale co-operative producers across the world. One of the co-ops who contribute to this coffee is ASOPEP composed of small-scale producers many of whom are continuing the family tradition of coffee cultivation. Poor infrastructure and historic conflict made trade difficult for many years but recent investment in partnership with Fairtrade has helped with the building of a quality lab to benefit the region as a whole. Slow roasted velvety moreish and smooth with hints of caramel and milk chocolate. Washed 100% Arabica beans grown at high altitude This product is accredited with Ethical Consumer's Best Buy label. The label is awarded after Ethical Consumer has looked in detail at the environmental and ethical record of both the product and company supplying it.
