Purely vegetarian pâté based on nutritional yeast, on non-hydrogenated fats and oils and exquisite ingredients, such as herbs, spices or vegetables. Tartex organic vegetarian pâtés are delicious on crackers, toast and as sandwich filler.

I've had mushroom pate from Aldi (a slab, not a tube) so I had some expectation regarding taste. This doesn't meet it, it's strange. I'll give it to my friend, he likes it.

Heavenly Mushroom

This paste is almost perfect. Wonderful earthy intense flavour, capturing beautifully the subtleties of the glorious fungus. Goes with anything and is a great addition to stews, soups, or gravy. The only drawback is the metal tube; it takes a lot of effort to squeeze a decent helping from the tube, and it doesn’t roll well. Otherwise, as I say, lovely product which I have no hesitation in recommending.
