Sorry, but to me it is bland

I made a single (35g+50g water) square sausage and fried it. It mixes and cooks well and it has a good texture. However, it's pretty bland and doesn't taste of anything. They're not horrible, they're ok, but quite disappointing. I will add some of my own flavouring the next time.
