Unique, delicious and sustainable. This is the new Mascarpone plant cream from Schlagfix. Just like milk-based mascarpone, it is perfect for making desserts such as tiramisu and cheesecake and for cooking and baking. As a purely herbal product, the cream contains no declarable allergens. Thus, Schlagfix offers all consumers a light and tasty alternative to traditional mascarpone.

Ingredients: Water, fully hydrogenated coconut fat 17%, coconut fat 8%, potato starch, maltodextrin, rice powder (dried rice syrup, rice starch, rice flour), potato protein, thickener: locust bean gum; emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; flavouring, acidity regulator: citric acid

Nutritional information (typical values per 100g): Energy 1164KJ / 278kcal, Fat 25g of which saturates 25g, Carbohydrate 13g of which sugars 0.6g, Protein 0.8g, Salt 0.03g.

I never thought it would be possible!

I thought I'd give this 'mascapone' a try as my partner is dairy intolerant and loves cheesecake! We had tried many alternatives but nothing had worked...until now! It's a wonderful product and works perfectly, just like Mascapone! He is so excited to be able to eat all his favourite cheesecakes now! And the use by date is so Long I've just bought another 10!
